Greddy also announced ( on Jan 17 2014) that they are doing a new partnership with Garrett in the upcoming months to us their turbos, which made me think of a decline in Mitsubishi's sales and quality. Mitsubishi's T518Z is a great turbo but I felt a Garrett GTX2867R (oil and water cooled) would last a little longer, life-wise. The Greddy kit did feel a little cheaper in design BUT with the short intercolor piping and no BOV design makes is quick and great for drifting.Īfter reading about the Mitsubishi turbo versus Garrett's designs I decided it was more beneficial to go with another kit. Using the trace feature, we recorded dyno runs and hot laps on the street for easy view back and tuning. We concentrated mostly on trimming fuel across the board on Project tC. Besides fuel injector pulse width and ignition timing adjustment, there are also maps for adjusting the airflow sensor.
