We ended up figuring out how to utilize a cloud platform to sync up all changes to our parts and assemblies across computers and it now works now. for a while we had to manually do this in each computer. If there is a change in pricing, adding parts, building assemblies, etc. No built-in cloud syncing between computers. Way outdated: No 4K monitor support, very old looking interface, only available for Windows.

It's extremely in-depth and you can do almost anything you can imagine. Lots of really powerful features, but it's really outdated and lacking some modern cloud syncing features and others talked about in the Cons list. Unfortunately, there is not a way to bring back this data.Like the title says, it's a love/hate relationship. If it is in a Takeoff or Page folder, then you will just need to cut out the folder. If the error is the main data file in the job (you can tell since the address has only the job name), you can learn how to bring the job back from this link:Įrror: What To Do If PlanSwift Corrupts A Main Data File In A Job Paste the folder on the desktop and then reload PlanSwift. For example, you would go back one folder and cut out the Palm Beach Equine Folder. Once you find the file, cut out the folder the error is coming from. You can follow the path given in the error message in Windows Explorer. If this happens, the easiest thing to do is remove the job specified in the error.
